Indian Concrete Institute is a professional institution, having its registered Head Quarters at “Ocean Crest” 79, Third Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Chennai – 600 020, devoted to Cement & Concrete. It is a National institution having more than 29 years of existence all over India. ICI has been in service to the industry and professionals with objectives like to promote growth of concrete construction and its sub-specializations, to collaborate with national and international agencies in creating better understanding of concrete construction technology, to identify R & D problems of practical relevance to concrete construction technology, to institute and distribute awards for outstanding achievements in concrete construction technology, to arrange periodical seminars and exhibitions on the subject and to arrange annual lecture series on selected topics of relevance to concrete constructions etc.. The institute has already registered over 9500 members. Individuals and organizations working in the field of concrete and interested in the advancement of construction technology, in the use of material, equipment, process designs, concrete products, construction, teaching or research are the members of the institute.

ABOUT Indian Concrete Institute, PUNE CENTRE ICI Pune Centre was established in 1994 under the chairmanship of Prof. M. S. Shetty. Er. R. T. Kulkarni was the first Hon. Secretary. ICI has been registered under Society Act. ICI works for the Civil Engineering Fraternity, in particular. However, the activities arranged by ICI are not limited to its members only. The great event of Innovative World of Concrete is arranged every five years and depending on the capability of the centre, Head Quarter allots a particular centre to convene the same. Our centre was selected for the 3rd IWC in 2003. It was a great grand success and we are happy to inform you that we were awarded as the Best Centre during 2003 for the consecutive second year. Pune Centre was also awarded as the Best Centre in 2004.
