Technical Programmes

News Letter: Once in Two months, News Letter is published. It contains a technical article from eminent and experienced engineer sharing his experiences with the readers. The technical articles are either on theoretical basis or the case studies. These are circulated to all members of ICI, Pune Centre.

Students’ Workshop: Students’ Workshop: ICI, PC conducts one week workshop for the Civil Students of Final Year. The technical lectures on practices in civil engineering projects, mainly, are convened in the first half of the day and in the second half the site visits to the construction sites are arranged.

Study Tours: Study Tours: Study tours to the construction sites relating to again the subject in particular are also arranged whenever we get the opportunity. These tours may be to the innovative or special structures like bridges, sports complex, auditoriums, etc.

ICI – BIRLA SUPER Award: Indian Concrete Institute Pune Centre and Ultra Tech Cement have entered in to a Memorandum of Understanding to award Outstanding Concrete Structure in two categories like Residential and Commercial buildings. It will be extended for Infrastructure Works also during next year. The first award function was held on 10.12.2012. There were 8 contestants and the award was presented to 2 contestants. One additional award was presented on Juries’ recommendation.
