Eligibility Criteria
Residency and Age:
The nominee must be an Indian resident aged 45 or older
Educational Qualification:
The nominee must hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Domain:
The nominee should have expertise in structural engineering and may be employed in the government or private sector,
or be self-employed (own firm).
Nomination:
Nominations can be submitted by nominees or nominators.
Required Submission Details:
(submit as a single PDF or PPT file)
Nominees must provide the following information to demonstrate their achievements & contributions:
Iconic Structures:
Number of iconic structures designed and/or executed in India under the nominee’s leadership.
Publications:
List of technical papers published at national and international levels. (Include 500-word summaries of the five best papers, covering key features and conclusions).
Professional Contributions:
Contributions to standards, such as participation in national code committees and specific roles played.
Project Experience:
Details of successfully completed projects, emphasising the nominee’s role, leadership, and practical contributions.
Information about projects should include (write up to 1000 words):
- Name of the project, age of the structure, location, and the authority or owner for whom it was executed
- Innovations & Techniques: Innovations, modern methods implemented, and new codes used.
- Photographs: Colored photographs (maximum 10) of the project showing structural and other details.
- Uniqueness: Uniqueness in structural design, construction method, stability, constructability, and challenges faced during the design and execution, etc.
- The project should have been completed within the last 10 years.
