Indian Concrete Institute Pune centre is association with Indo Spark Construction Services had organized a Lecture on Anchore fasters, their types, testing and usage With live demonstration counters for Anchor installation, Anchor / Rebar Pullout and Anchor Design Software as per European Technical Assessment (ETA). The tech talk was attended by more than 100 members and it was very much interesting and interactive.

(VIIT), Pune successfully organised and held a seminar on ‘Usage of SLAG-BASED product for SUSTAINABLE AND DURABLE GREEN CONCRETE’.

The Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Students’ chapter, Civil Department, Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology(VIIT), Pune successfully organised and held a seminar on ‘Usage of SLAG-BASED product for SUSTAINABLE AND DURABLE GREEN CONCRETE’ on Friday 23^rd of September,2022 , starting at 3.20 PM to 4.30 PM with participation of total 120 Students. The Seminar was taken by Er Trivikram Shenvi , Vice President (Direct Sales and Techno-marketing JSW Cement).

ICI Pune centre had organized Engineer’s day on 15^th Sept2022. Dr Nitin Karamlkar, Former Chairman SPPU was chief Guest and Er Umesh Joshi and Er Achyut Watve were Guest of Honour for the same. They guided the students and young Engineers on the Role of Civil Engineers in Shaping the construction Industry ahead. Er V B Gadgil was also felicitated for his special contribution to the Engineering Marvels across India. He spoke about his varied experience and challenges encountered and guided the young Engineers on need to focus on Developing skills, working hard and following the work ethics for the Long term success in Life. During this event few Eminent engineers from Pune were also felicitated for the contribution towards the Construction Industry.

The Indian Concrete Institute Pune Centre had organized a National Level Competition on 14^th and 15^th September,2022 on Concrete Day and Engineers Day.

Exhibition of innovations in Concrete & National Level Paper, Poster, mix Concrete Cube, Innovative ideas, Ice-cream stick bridge model, tech green concrete Cube Competition for Diploma & Degree Students. This contest provides a National platform for the students to explore their innovations through the Technical paper, poster presentation & all other Competition.

Prize for Event in Cash. 1st Prize – 31000/-, 2nd Prize – 21000/- & 3rd Prize – 15000/- each 6 groups.

Indian Concrete Institute, Pune Centre in association with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. 1500 students participated in this competition.

ICI Punce centre had organized Concrete Day celebration event on 14^th Sept. Chief Guest for the event was Er. Mukundo Datta- GC, Quality Control, Pune Mahametro. He talked about the importance of Quality control and Quality assurance for smart infrastructures and the opportunities for the students and young professionals. Also, during the event, few Professionals were felicitated for their contribution to the Concrete Industry.

Builders Association of India -Pune Centre in associate with Indian Concrete Institute, Pune Centre jointly organized an informative half day technical Seminar on various aspects, challenges and engineering dimensions of Pune Metro. This was an opportunity for the audience to know the construction aspects, speed and advanced technology used in Iconic Infrastructure.

Teaming up with The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Rajpath Infracon lodged its name in the Guinness World Records by constructing 84.4 Km continuous Bituminous Concrete in Single Lane on the section of NH-53 between Amravati to Akola within five days. This being one of the major achievement in the Construction and Civil fraternity, ICI Pune centre had organized a special lecture for the benefit of Members. The speaker Er Jagdish Kadam elaborated the entire from planning to execution to various challenges faced in achieving this milestone. It was quite an inspirational session attended by 100 odd technocrats and students from the city.
